Un círculo que se cierra después de diez años
Hoy cierro un círculo que llevaba más de diez años abierto. Después de volver a publicar música con Angel, llega NIGHTMARESCLUB, mi segundo single en esta nueva etapa que estoy construyendo casi desde cero, pero con todas mis raíces bien visibles.
Mi ADN sonoro, con otra luz
Este lanzamiento es especial por muchas razones. La primera: esa mezcla de guitarras, electrónica y melancolía que siempre ha sido parte de mi ADN se revela ahora de otra manera, más desnuda y más presente.
Esa luz post punk que me marcó desde los primeros conciertos en Zaragoza, cuando descubrí que la noche podía ser un lugar donde convivían New Order, The Cure y la energía más cruda de Primal Scream o Nine Inch Nails, junto a la enésima eclosión del britpop y la primera ola del indie español.
NIGHTMARESCLUB nace justo de ahí: de esa mezcla de búsqueda personal, nostalgia y electricidad emocional que llevaba demasiado tiempo guardada.
Cara B: Europe is Dead
El single viene acompañado de una cara B, Europe is Dead, un tema más áspero y oscuro, con un pulso electrónico berlinés y una mirada crítica hacia la Europa que nos rodea.
Es un corte más grave, con influencias que van de Nick Cave y Love and Rockets hasta Miss Kittin.
Un contraste que amplía el universo del lanzamiento desde otro ángulo, más tenso y más sombrío.
La parte visual: volver al origen
El videoclip y la portada llevan la firma de @anxoart, y esto para mí tiene un significado enorme.
En mis primeros años tocando en directo, él era el DJ residente del club donde debuté.
Ese lugar fue mi primera exposición real a la noche, a la mezcla de estilos, a la intensidad de la música en vivo.
Que él sea quien crea la identidad visual de NIGHTMARESCLUB es como volver a ese origen, pero con todo lo aprendido en este tiempo.

A circle closing after ten years
Today I’m closing a circle that has been open for more than ten years. After releasing music again with Angel, NIGHTMARESCLUB arrives as my second single in this new stage I’m building almost from scratch, but with all my roots fully visible.
My sonic DNA, in a different light
This release is special for many reasons. The first: that blend of guitars, electronics and melancholy that has always been part of my DNA now reveals itself in a different way — more bare, more present.
That post‑punk glow that marked me from my first concerts in Zaragoza, when I discovered that the night could be a place where New Order, The Cure and the raw energy of Primal Scream or Nine Inch Nails coexisted, alongside the umpteenth explosion of britpop and the first wave of Spanish indie.
NIGHTMARESCLUB is born exactly from that: from a mix of personal searching, nostalgia and emotional electricity that had been stored away for too long.
B‑side: Europe is Dead
The single comes with a B‑side, Europe is Dead, a rougher and darker track, with a Berlin‑style electronic pulse and a critical look at the Europe around us.
It’s a heavier cut, with influences ranging from Nick Cave and Love and Rockets to Miss Kittin.
A contrast that expands the universe of the release from another angle — more tense, more shadowy.
The visual side: returning to the origin
The music video and artwork are signed by @anxoart, and this has huge meaning for me.
In my early years playing live, he was the resident DJ at the club where I debuted.
That place was my first real exposure to the night, to the mix of styles, to the intensity of live music.
Having him create the visual identity of NIGHTMARESCLUB feels like returning to that origin, but with everything I’ve learned since then.
